The BCHNC now has specialty license plates available to the public. The DMV requires that we have secured 300 applications before they will print and mail out the new tags. Once the organization has the required 300 applications and payments. Dale will turn the information into the DMV at Raleigh and the tags will be mailed out to the applicants.
In the mean time you continue to keep your car tag current. Once you receive the new BCHNC tag, just put it on your vehicle and you are all set.
Please print out as many as you like and try to get everyone you know to purchase a tag. The organization will benefit from the tags as will NC's rest areas and wildflower programs.
If you have any questions at all, Please contact Dale Sorrells at 828-243-1294. Until we get the required 300 and get them to Raleigh, the DMV can do nothing to help us. Please make checks payable to BCHNC, not the DMV! When renewal time comes, you will renew as usual at the DMV.

Meetings
Big Creek Chapter:
Meetings: 2:30 p.m., every 3rd Sunday of the month at Big
Creek Horse Camp unless otherwise announced. The campground
is reserved for BCHBC for the the entire weekend so that
anyone who wants to camp and ride and attend our meeting is
welcome. A donation of $5 per person is requested to help
cover maintenance at the horse camp.
